Having to live with type 2 diabetes can be tough on some people, but once a proper way of life can be set everything should be downhill from there. One of the important things you should really pay close attention to when you are living with type 2 diabetes is your breakfast. Just like what our parents used to say, breakfast is indeed the most important meal of the day.

We need breakfast to provide enough amount of energy for daily activities. That is why taking some time to prepare a healthy and nutritious breakfast if you are diabetic is definitely well worth the effort. Don’t go overboard and have too much during breakfast though; my personal favorite is two eggs, fried using healthy olive oil boiled, with two slice of whole wheat bread to go along with them. The menu works like a charm every time, and it kept me energized until lunch.

You can also have alternative breakfast such as oatmeal or mixed grain toast instead. Ham and turkey bacon can also add some nice flavors to the meal, and they are all suitable for people dealing with diabetes. Switch between menus and create your own combination to avoid boredom.
